An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour, who also set her on fire after the crime in Faridpur area here on Monday, police said.
The incident took place this afternoon when the girl was alone in her home and neighbour, Kantu, not only raped her but also set her on fire in Khemunagla village, police said.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital and her condition is critical.
