N Srinivasan’s conflict of interest obvious, says Supreme Court

The Supreme Court said that ousted BCCI chief N Srinivasan’s conflict of interest was “obvious” as he also owned a team in the IPL that he would want to win in the tournament.
The court also questioned BCCI if it was willing to take actions against all the persons after the Mudgal probe panel report was out following detailed investigation regarding roles of Srinivasan, his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and others.
It said that the BCCI must act on its own now and consider taking all possible actions that included suspension of teams, expulsion of players and other forms of penalty.
The court also asked BCCI if it was open to have a fresh polls for a new board without Srinivasan and then let the new board take actions.
The BCCI counsel said he would need some time to take instructions even as the proceedings in court are
