HYDERABAD: The much awaited verdict in the Satyam multi-crore scam case filed by the CBI, which was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday, is now scheduled to be pronounced on March 9, 2015.
Hyderabad’s 21st additional chief metropolitan magistrate B V L N Chakravarthy, who heard the case on Tuesday, cited the voluminous records involved as the reason for putting off the verdict.
“I have to go through some more documents and I want some more time,” the additional chief metropolitan magistrate said and posted the matter to March 9 next year.
Satyam’s founder chairman B Ramalinga Raju and other accused appeared in the court on Tuesday and were directed to be present in the court on March 9.
The same court which was also designated as the competent court to hear the case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Satyam scam case is scheduled to hear the same on January 6, 2015.
