A 35-year-old pub bouncer stabbed his mother-in-law to death and injured his wife and her two brothers with a knife during an argument at their house in southwest Delhi’s Sagarpur area on Monday evening. Police said that the man has fled from the scene after the attack.
The incident was reported from near the Tentwala school area around 4pm.
The accused man, Bhupender Singh and his wife Poonam arrived at her house to meet her father, Shri Bhagwan (60) who is paralysed and his bedridden for the past few years.
A few minutes after they had entered the house, neighbours told the police that they heard Bhupender fighting with Poonam apparently after an argument over her father’s property.
During this, he had pulled out a knife and stabbed her repeatedly.
