NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court of India on Friday allowed Prasar Bharati to share live feed of World Cup cricket matches with cable operators.

The apex court overturned an earlier order from Delhi High Court restraining public broadcaster to share feed with cable operators.

Earlier, Star Sports, the official broadcast partner of World Cup, had argued in court that it had invested crores of rupees to procure the rights and feed sharing hurts it financially.
