The Supreme Court on Monday expressed unhappiness over N Srinivasan’s participation in a BCCI meeting on February 8 saying he should not have done this.
“Srinivasan should not have done this, we have certainly found that there is a conflict of interest, said the apex court in a response to a petition seeking contempt proceedings against N Srinivasan for holding a meeting of its working committee.
On February 18, Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) had moved the Supreme Court seeking contempt proceedings against Srinivasan and other BCCI officials for holding a meeting of its working committee to decide on holding Annual General Meeting in March in alleged violation of the apex court directions.
The CAB’s petition was filed through its Secretary Aditya Verma, seeking contempt action against Srinivasan, BCCI’s interim president Shivlal Yadav and Secretary Sanjay Patil.
